Once I have your selections, I get to work creating your custom light pendant. First, I set the colored light of your choice in UV resin. Next, I add colored pigment to the resin and embed the LED to create the light. Then, I mount the your custom light on black perfboard with a 3V CR2032 battery holder. The board is then fitted with a removable, oxidized Sterling silver wire-wrapped frame, which contains an upcycled, stainless steel, watch gear accent.
Each pendant measures approximately 43x33x28mm (1.7" x 1.3" x 1.1"), and comes suspended on your choice of chain. The circuitry is sealed in a combination of hot glue and electrical tape to keep out dirt/moisture, while affording access to the circuitry, should repair ever be required. The wire-wrapped frame may also be removed (by unscrewing the two nuts & bolts at the top of the frame) to make cleaning easier. Please bear in mind, however that this piece is not waterproof and moisture should be avoided.
